Before WordPress, publishing systems were complicated and expensive to build and maintain so I ended up building my own lightweight modular publishing system (under the dba “Modular Function”). In a partnership with Strike Marketing, we deployed the system to over 80 schools in the Paul Mitchell School system. Schools were able to keep their websites updated, and more importantly, they also captured online applications and over 100,000 leads.
