I met Vasileos at the world’s smallest farmer’s market in Wisconsin. He had come to the U.S. after marrying a local girl that he met at a university in Greece. Olive oil is his family’s business and he imports his family’s olives to Wisconsin and presses them in his barn. He wanted to sell his olive oil online, but of course didn’t have much to spend. Working with a tight budget, I setup him up with a Squarespace site where he could sell his products online and keep his clients informed about his farmer’s market schedule. I also participated in both directing and shooting some photography, because bad photography should never be the default position.
